About Valley Center Trails Association
The VCTA’s main purpose is to help implement the trails and pathways called for in the county’s Community Trails Master Plan for Valley Center. A copy is at the Valley Center Branch Library.
On June 23, 2009, the County Board of Supervisors approved updates to the Community Trails Master Plan. That includes increasing the potential trail/pathway miles in Valley Center to approximately 120 miles, and updating the text of the Valley Center portion of the Plan. The exciting beginning to the actual construction in Valley Center of any trails/pathways outside of the Hellhole Canyon Open Space Preserve was "Heritage Trail," the 2 1/2 miles along Valley Center Road from Woods Valley Road to Cole GradeRoad.
Valley Center Trails Association Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt public benefit organization that meets quarterly at the Valley Center Branch Library. Please contact us for details.
